If you want to create a simple website or blog, without any cost, then WordPress.com is suitable for you. Because it will provide you wordpress.com’s subdomain and hosting. You can simply log in through your email with wordpress.com and choose your domain name like yourname.wordpress.com and create it within a minute.
If you want to run a professional website, blog or ecommerce, then this platform is suitable for you. Because more than 35% of websites in the world are built using wordpress.org.
Step-2: Buy a Domain Name
Picking the best domain name is a very important thing. I’ll share with you the 4 rules that I usually follow when choosing a perfect domain name.

And one more thing, always choose the .com extension first if your extension is not available with your domain name then you can choose another extension as well but I prefer .com domain extension because maximum people are searching with this domain extension.
There are many domain seller companies available in the market like Godaddy, Namecheap, etc. You can search on the internet and choose the best one.
Step-3: Buy a Hosting
Web hosting is where you can store your data, blog, media, etc. They give you the platform where you can install WordPress and design your website template.
Once you buy hosting for your domain and hosting with them, then they will give you the Cpanel access where you can control all of our data and files.
Simply log in to domain Cpanel and install WordPress from softaculous and start customization.
Step-4: Familiar With the WordPress User Interface
Once you successfully installed WordPress, then you should log on to your user panel of the WordPress dashboard. For that, you need to browse your domain name with /wp-admin (yourdomain.com/wp-admin) and enter your username and password. Once you have logged in, you can see the welcome page of the WordPress dashboard.
First of all you should visit all the settings and make sure all the settings are good. For that, you need to click the setting which is available on the left side of your WordPress dashboard and.

If you want to create some blog posts, then you should go to posts, add new posts, then you will find a space to enter your post title, post body, category, featured image, etc.

The website’s menus are the primary vehicle through which visitors navigate your site. So improved navigation means better user experience.
Navigation menus allow users to browse different pages on your website. For that, you need to go to appearance then click menus, and create a menu name. After that, you can create a custom link, add pages, categories on this menu, and save it.
Step-9: Site Widgets
Widgets are the most useful feature in WordPress. Especially, a widget is a small block of content that can be displayed in different places around your website.
If you want to add some blocks, Facebook page, Twitter timeline, social media pages, latest blogs, etc, on your website’s sidebar and footer, then the WordPress widgets are the best option for you.
For that you should go to Appearance → Widgets in your WordPress dashboard then you’ll get the required section where you can customize your widgets.
