Step-1: Go to the instagarm.com from a computer’s browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.
Step-2: Log into your Instagram account tapping your username and password.
Step-3: Click your profile picture in the top right side and click Profile then click the Edit Profile option.
Step-4: Scroll down, and click the Temporarily disable my account in the bottom right.
Step-5: Select an option Why are you disabling your account? and re-enter your password.
(Disable your account option will appear after you’ve selected the reason.)
Step-6: Click on Temporarily Disable Account.
You’ll be logged out after tapping the Temporarily Disable Account. And your followers can’t see your Instagram account until you reactivate it again.

Deactivate your Instagram account from a mobile.
Sadly Instagram mobile application doesn’t allow us to deactivate the Instagram account. But there is a way how to deactivate Instagram. But how? Follow the steps below for How to Deactivate Instagram.

How to Reactivate your Instagram Account
After deactivation of your Instagram account, you’ll need to reactivate again. You can reactivate and come back to your disabled account at any time you want. The only thing that you don’t forget is your username and password. If you want to activate your account again you can simply go to instagram.com on the browser or you can open your Instagram app from your mobile phone then enter your username and password and hit the login button. Your account will be activated and your followers can see again.
